About the product

This publication presents the responses and recommendations of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Technology and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP) to the requests of action formulated by the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer. The requests concern the following key points: essential use applications for Ozone Depleting Substances for the year 2002 and beyond; measures to facilitate the transition to chlorofluorocarbon-free metered dose inhalers; exemption for laboratory and analytical uses; assessment of new substances; process agents; and progress and development in the control of substances.
