This publication is based on the annual reports that were submitted by Parties to the Basel Convention during 2002. It identifies the list of waste substances that did not fall under the scope of the Basel Convention, yet were included as hazardous wastes on the annual reports of reporting countries. It also includes summary tables for the generation, export and import of hazardous wastes and other wastes. Colored graphical representations of datasets on generation and trans-boundary movements are included.
