About the product
This report details how the United Nations Environment Protection Agency (UNEP) is making real its plans and aspirations for a better and more sustained world. The report informs governments, institutions and citizens of developing about capacity building opportunities available from UNEP, and encourages donors and other partners to join UNEP in meeting the urgent needs of environmental capacity building. These efforts are aimed at helping UNEP fulfill the goals for a sustainable future set out in Agenda 21 and reinforced at the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development.
