This publication is based on the United Nations Environment Programme's (UNEP) study on ecofarming technology and methods used in China. The following subjects are covered in the study: development of ecofarming in China; development of ecological agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions; establishing ecological agriculture on wetlands; rural compound farming; integrated fish-culture in ecofarming; ecological animal husbandry; agroforestry in ecofarming; ecofarming and rural energy; and designing ecofarming programmes.
