This publication presents the responses and recommendations of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Technology and Economic Assessment Panel (TEAP) to the requests of action formulated by the Parties to the Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer. The requests concerns the following key points: review of essential use nominations for metered dose inhalers (MDIs); emissions of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODSs) from feedstock applications; report on new substances with Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP); progress and development in the control of substances with ODP; and TEAP coordination with the framework convention on climate change.
